The Helena missile, developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization of India (DRDO), is capable of striking and destroying enemy artillery from a helicopter. This missile was tested by the DRDO as part of a capability review.
The Helena missile was successfully tested yesterday, according to the Federal Ministry of Defense. A statement from the Ministry of Defense said, “The missile was tested by a team of scientists from the Defense Research and Development Organization, the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force.

இந்தியாவின் பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு அமைப்பு (டிஆர்டிஓ) தயாரித்த ஹெலினா ஏவுகணை, ஹெலிகாப்டரில் இருந்து எதிரிகளின் பீரங்கிகளைத் தாக்கி அழிக்கும் திறன் கொண்டது. இந்த ஏவுகணை திறன் மதிப்பாய்வின் ஒரு பகுதியாக டிஆர்டிஓவால் சோதிக்கப்பட்டது.
ஹெலினா ஏவுகணை நேற்று வெற்றிகரமாக சோதிக்கப்பட்டதாக மத்திய பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இது குறித்து அமைச்சகம் வெளியிட்டுள்ள அறிக்கையில், “பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு நிறுவனம், இந்திய ராணுவம் மற்றும் இந்திய விமானப்படை ஆகியவற்றின் விஞ்ஞானிகள் குழு இணைந்து இந்த ஏவுகணை சோதனை நடத்தியது. மேம்பட்ட இலகுரக ஹெலிகாப்டரில் இருந்து ஏவப்பட்ட ஏவுகணை இலக்கை துல்லியமாக தாக்கி அழித்தது. இந்த ஏவுகணை உலகின் அதிநவீன விமான எதிர்ப்பு ஆயுதங்களில் ஒன்றாகும்.
