The public is alarmed by the rapid spread of poisonous fever in the Kattumannarkoil area. Many civilians in the Kattumannarkoil area have been affected by the flu. High fever is prevalent in all the villages including Ayyalur, Adanur Muttam, Mowur, Azhinjamangalam, Melarathampur, Kuppankuzhi, Edayar, South Kuruppu, Sarvarajanpet and Thirunaraiyur. The public with symptoms such as high fever, malaise, cold, sore throat, hand and foot ailments, loss of appetite and dizziness are flocking to government and private hospitals for treatment. As a result, hospitals are overcrowded. The medical department reports that the current fever is corona because it is similar to the omega-3 symptoms. Thus people affected by the flu are paralyzed at home without going for treatment. The general public is alarmed by the risk of further spread of the disease.

காட்டுமன்னார்கோயில் பகுதியில் விஷ காய்ச்சல் வேகமாக பரவி வருவதால் பொதுமக்கள் அச்சமடைந்துள்ளனர். காட்டுமன்னார்கோயில் பகுதியில் பொது மக்கள் பலர் காய்ச்சலால் பாதித்துள்ளனர்.  எய்யலூர், ஆதனூர் முட்டம், மோவூர், அழிஞ்சமங்கலம், மேலராதாம்பூர், குப்பங்குழி, எடையார், தெற்கிருப்பு, சர்வராஜன்பேட்டை, திருநாரையூர் உள்ளிட்ட அனைத்து கிராமங்களிலும் அதிகளவு காய்ச்சல் காணப்படுகிறது. கடுமையான காய்ச்சல், உடம்பு வலி, சளி, தொண்டை வலி, கை, கால் அசதி, பசியின்மை, மயக்கம் போன்ற அறிகுறிகளுடன் பொதுமக்கள் அரசு மற்றும் தனியார் மருத்துவமனைகளுக்கு சிகிச்சைக்கு படையெடுக்கின்றனர். இதனால் மருத்துவமனைகளில் அதிகளவு கூட்ட நெரிசல் காணப்படுகிறது.  தற்போது ஏற்படும் காய்ச்சல் ஓமைக்ரான் அறிகுறியோடு ஒத்திருப்பதால் கொரோனா என மருத்துவத் துறை தெரிவிக்கிறது. இதனால் காய்ச்சல் பாதித்த மக்கள் சிகிச்சைக்கு செல்லாமல் வீட்டில் முடங்கிக் கிடக்கின்றனர்.  இதனால் நோய் மேலும் பரவும் அபாயம் உள்ளதால் பொது மக்கள் அச்சமடைந்துள்ளனர்.
